In Norse mythology, the ravens Hugin and Munin are the companions of Odin, who is also called "God of Raven". Hugin means "mind", Munin means "memory". At dawn, Odin sends them out to explore the world. Returning at breakfast time, they deliver all messages and information they have gathered. The amulet symbolises fellowship, loyalty and wisdom.
